Becca is extremely creative and relentless in finding solutions, while also possessing the organizational discipline to manage workflow and keep projects on track. As the first full-time employee at FIVE19, she has been with the company for over 14 years and has played an instrumental role in its growth, culture and ongoing success.
Originally from Ellicott City, Maryland, Becca graduated from James Madison University with a BFA in Art and Graphic Design. She began her career at a boutique agency in Northern Virginia, working with homebuilding and nonprofit clients, where she honed her craft and developed a sharp eye for detail and design.
After relocating to Richmond in 2010, she joined Richmond Magazine, where she conceived and executed a range of in-house marketing campaigns, award-winning local advertisements, and art direction for feature stories. It was through the Richmond Ad Club that she met Derek, discovering a shared vision for advertising, design and business that ultimately led her to FIVE19.
Since joining in 2011, Becca has brought an exceptional blend of artistic talent and strategic insight. She leads FIVE19’s creative team and plays a key role on the company’s leadership team, helping to shape overall direction and ensure the agency remains true to its mission and values. Her commitment to commitment to exceeding client expectations and her influence on the company’s creative and cultural vision continue to be invaluable. She lives in the city with her husband, Brent.
