James Moore brings nearly a decade of marketing experience in healthcare and medtech to his role as Marketing Specialist at FIVE19. A Martinsville, Virginia native, he earned his bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Mary Washington before making his way to Richmond, where he now lives in Church Hill.

A lifelong learner, James approaches the work with curiosity, patience, and an analytical mindset. He enjoys uncovering opportunities that help clients strengthen their marketing and turn insights into action. He credits an older cousin who built a successful marketing career with offering valuable advice along his own professional path.

Away from work, James gravitates toward the outdoors, whether gardening, fishing, hiking, birding or biking. He grew up backpacking along the Appalachian Trail and still loves the Blue Ridge Mountains, although these days he finds himself increasingly drawn to Virginia’s rivers and waterways. He also enjoys reading and cooking — and should the occasion call for it, has been known to throw a playing card or two.
